Frigilene Clear Lacquer is a fast-drying protective lacquer developed for decorative and polished metal surfaces where it is important to preserve the original appearance of the finish. It forms a clear protective coating that helps reduce tarnishing, staining and surface oxidation without giving the metal an overly heavy or glossy appearance.

Frigilene is particularly suitable for satin, brushed and delicate decorative finishes, including brass, copper, silver-coloured metals and other polished metal surfaces where maintaining the existing surface character is important.

It is well suited to decorative metalwork, restoration work, fittings, ornaments, components and other indoor applications where the metal needs protection from handling and atmospheric exposure.

For best results, apply to a clean, dry and grease-free surface in light, even coats and allow to dry fully between applications.

Thinning / Dilution: Frigilene can be used as supplied for many brush applications. Where a thinner consistency is required, particularly for spray or dip application, use Frigilene Reducer. Add the reducer gradually until the required application viscosity is achieved. As a general guide, approximately 10–25% reducer may be suitable depending on the application method and equipment being used. Always test on a small area first.
