It is ideal for thinning fibreglass resin, cleaning fibreglass tools & dissolving 2 pack epoxies & other adhesives such as superglue before hardening.
A heavy duty degreaser. It can also be useful in the preparation of metal surfaces prior to painting.
Acetone can also dissolve many plastics, including those used in Nalgene bottles made of polystyrene, polycarbonate & some types of polypropylene.
