Washington Mills Aluminium Oxide

DURALUM® is a tough, virgin fused brown aluminum oxide abrasive containing no free silica.  It is more closely sized than other blasting grains using ANSI table B74.12 Table 2 standards to insure consistent duplication of surface finishes.

When it comes to good value for money, brown fused alumina is the first choice among the angular mineral products. As well as its high hardness, brown fused alumina is also noted for its extreme toughness which gives this iron-free blasting medium and abrasive extremely high stability.

This high-quality, virgin-grade abrasive grit is suitable for coating mops, with an adhesive such as Coldax cement.
