Lacquers

Yes. I’d make the category introduction do two jobs: explain why you would lacquer polished metal at all, and make the choice between Ercalene and Frigilene obvious.
Clear Metal Lacquers
Our clear metal lacquers are designed to protect polished and decorative metal surfaces from tarnishing, oxidation, fingerprints and atmospheric contamination while retaining the appearance of the finished metal.
Both Ercalene and Frigilene are fast-drying clear lacquers suitable for metal finishing, restoration and decorative applications, but they are generally chosen for slightly different types of finish.
Ercalene Clear Lacquer is our general-purpose option and is particularly suitable for bright and highly polished metal surfaces such as brass, copper and steel. It provides a clear, discreet protective coating that helps maintain the polished appearance of the metal.
Frigilene Clear Lacquer is particularly suited to satin, brushed and more natural-looking decorative finishes, where it is important that the lacquer does not make the surface appear excessively glossy. It is a good choice for satin brass, silver-coloured finishes and decorative metalwork where the original surface character needs to be retained.
Which lacquer should I choose?
