Abrasives

Made of a woven fibre and impregnated with aluminium oxide abrasive satin mops are most commonly used to achieve the satin finish associated with stainless steel products. Can also be used for abrasive finishing prior to polishing. Ideal for cleaning up cast aluminium surface where polishing is not required. Each mop is constructed of a number of discs (laps) approx. ¼” thick. Available in very fine, fine, medium and coarse.

A greaseless abrasive compound for applying to mops or felt bobs. It is a mix of abrasive and glue and therefore a fast and economical way to coat mops and bobs for abrasive operations.

Cartridge rolls and tapers for abrasive operations and porting. In this section are abrasive sleeves (sometimes called spira bands), they are rolls of abrasive coated cloth that fit onto small holders. The holders are reused.
