History

The Polishing Shop was established in 2003.
It is a subsidiary company of Metal Finishing Supplies Limited which was first opened by Lawrence Morris in 1967.
Malcolm Malpass, our current chairman, bought the company in 1981.His three sons Mark, Peter and Andrew are all Directors.
When the Polishing Shop idea was first born Charles Maher, formerly of Cetem, came to join us. With his knowledge and expertise in the public sector and Metal Finishing Supplies experience with the private sector we formed a formidable force.
Since 2003 we have gone from strength to strength thanks to our loyal website customers (old and new), We also attract a fair amount of trade from shows including the N.E.C., G'Mex Manchester etc. (details on site).
